‘Lovers of the Red Sky’ Teaser: Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop’s Lives are Intertwined by Mysterious Fate
On August 13, SBS TV teased the fans and viewers with a new teaser video for the much-awaited upcoming historical fantasy romance drama series "Lovers of the Red Sky" (also known as "Red Sky" or "Hong Chun Gi").
"Lovers of the Red Sky" stars "Love in the Moonlight" actress Kim Yoo Jung, "Abyss" actor Ahn Hyo Seop, "Revolutionary Love" actor Gong Myung, and "Chicago Typewriter" actor Kwak Si Yang.
'Lovers of the Red Sky' Teaser Video Features Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop
Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop will finally star on the small screen together with SBS' "Lovers of the Red Sky."
In the new "Lovers of the Red Sky" teaser video, Hong Chun Gi (Kim Yoo Jung) and Ha Ram's (Ahn Hyo Seop) lives keep on getting connected coincidentally. The two of them keep on bumping into each other in the most unexpected situations.
Ha Ram mutters, "I met a girl who strongly reeked of ink yesterday."
On the other hand, Ha Ram is described by Hong Chun Gi as "a man who fell from the sky unconscious."
In the next scene, Hong Chun Gi hovers atop him as she asks him to slowly open his eyes. To her surprise, Ha Ram suddenly pins her to the floor.
The text in the teaser video describes the two characters as "two people whose lives are intertwined by mysterious fate."
Ha Ram then wonders if meeting a person who resembles a lot like the girl whom he remembers despite losing his memory is a coincidence.
The teaser video then shows a flashback of Hong Chun Gi and Ha Ram in their younger years. Hong Chun Gi says, "I want to draw his face if we end up again someday."

As the teaser comes to an end, a hilariously cute scene is shown. Ha Ram asks Hong Chun Gi for her name, in which the latter replies stammering.
Ha Ram cuts in as he guesses her name and asks, "Hong Hong Hong is your name? Really?"
With a smile, she quickly clarifies the misunderstanding, "My name is Hong Chun Gi."
The cute scene made the fans and viewers go wild with the two main leads' refreshing and undeniable chemistry.
'Lovers of the Red Sky' Synopsis and Further Details
Historical drama princess Kim Yoo Jung stars as Joseon dynasty's only lady painter, Hong Chun Gi. She was born blind but she miraculously regains her vision.
Opposite Ahn Hyo Seop who will be taking on the role of the blind astrologer who loves to read the stars and sky, Ha Ram.
On the other hand, Gong Myung will play the role of Prince Yang Myung, the romantic yet lonely prince who loves beauty, poetry, and romance.
Kwak Si Yang will take on the role of the ambitious and prickly Prince Joo Hyang who will do anything to get what he desires.
"Lovers of the Red Sky" tells the story of Hong Chun Gi as she enters the painting academy for the first time but has distinctive aesthetic skills and knowledge.
