Jung Hae In to Show His Boxing Skills in Netflix’s New Series ‘D.P’ + Talks about His Chemistry with Actor Goo Kyung Hwan

Few more days and we will be able to finally watch the webtoon-based series "D.P" also known as "Deserter Pursuit."
Director Han Jun Hee and actors Jung Hae In, Goo Kyung Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, and Son Seok Koo are all present during the virtual event.
D.P. Cast Talk About Their Upcoming Series
One of the key points that viewers should look forward to is the bromance between Jung Hae In and Goo Kyung Hwan, for it will surely capture the viewers' hearts. Even before its scheduled broadcast, "D.P." has been attracting attention due to its fresh cast and exciting teasers.
Jung Hae In will be playing the second-class soldier in the military group while "Escape from Mogadishu" actor Goo Kyung Hwan will be portraying the role of a DP leader. Kim Sung Kyun as Sergent Park Beom Gu who leads the DP. Son Seok Koo takes Im Ji Seop's role, a new captain in the military police group.
The actors also revealed during the presscon that they were not aware about the meaning of DP until they worked on the project. "D.P." became an eye-opener for them and they have learned a lot about the military through this project.
Director Han Jun Hee said that the writer of the drama Kim Bo Tong had shared lots of interesting insight about the story. Han Jun Hee was able to get lots of realistic stories from the supporting cast of the "D.P" who were also part of the military.

Jung Hae In Confesses He Had Three Months of Boxing Practice for His Role
Aside from enjoying reading the script, Jung Hae In will also be displaying his boxing skills in the upcoming series. According to him, "Please look forward to Jun Ho's boxing skills." The Korean heartthrob confessed that he put a lot of effort into filming this project.
He added, "I practiced boxing three months ago. Our director wanted me to shoot the scenes in one take. He wanted me to follow the camera as close as possible. I practice really hard." Jung Hae In also said that he practiced with actor Lee Joon Young on a summer day and has been sweating for three months to fulfill his goal for the role.
Goo Kyung Hwan's Ad-Libs Makes Jung Hae In Laugh During Filming
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In also talked about his bromance with Goo Kyung Hwan. He shared, "I tend to hold back my laughter during filming every time I am with Kyung Hwan. He does ad-libs that perfectly fit the scenes. It was an amazing improvisation and at that time I burst and laughed so much."
The director added that the chemistry between the actors, especially with Jung Hae In and Goo Kyung Hwan, look so natural and will surely be loved by the viewers.
