‘Beyond Evil’ Actress Choi Sung Eun Invited to Hawaii International Film Festival to Represent the Movie ‘Ten Months'

Choi Sung Eun is going bigtime as she is officially invited to the upcoming 41st Hawaii International Film Festival for the movie "Ten Months."

'Ten Months' to Premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival

KBS Entertainment News reported on September 2 that the South Korean actress Choi Sung Eun will grace the prestigious international film festival. The "Beyond Evil" star is headed to Hawaii International Film Festival's Spotlight on Korea section to represent the forthcoming movie "Ten Months," helmed by director Nam Goong Sun.

The film festival was established in 1981 for the purpose of cultural exchange between North America and Asia-Pacific. This 2021, it celebrates its 41st anniversary, and the event is expected to be held in November. 

"Ten Months" is director Nam Goong Sun's directorial debut movie. It revolves around a 29-year-old game developer named Mi Rae. She is 11 weeks pregnant and is experiencing lots of problems in life. 

This is not the first film festival that the movie "Ten Months" got invited to. In fact, it continues to receive invites from the local and international film festivals like Jeonju International Film Festival, Seoul International Women's Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival, and New York Asian Film Festival. 

Meanwhile, "Ten Months" is set for release in South Korea in the second half of 2021.

Choi Sung Eun as Emerging South Korean Star

A rookie, Choi Sung Eun has the power to attract viewers with her fresh and immersive acting performances. Starting from her previous series "Beyond Evil," Choi Sung Eun was built a commendable image as a promising actress.

Currently, Choi Sung Eun is working on two new big projects that star some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. 

First, she is in the middle of filming the upcoming Netflix's original series "The Sound of Magic," also known as "Annarasumanara," where she will work alongside Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop.
