Song Joong Ki’s ‘Space Sweepers’ and Han So Hee’s ‘My Name’ to Premiere in Busan International Film Festival
Two of the hottest names today in entertainment, Song Joong Ki and Han So Hee will be dominating the upcoming Busan International Film Festival.
Busan International Film Festival Launches "On Screen Section"
Based on the list released by the committee of Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on August 25, some of the hit movies and series aired and yet to be released on Netflix will be screened during the film festival.
They also confirmed that for this year's celebration, for the first time, the committee has decided to launch the new category, "On Screen Section." This section will screen the highly-anticipated series that will be broadcast through various streaming platforms.
Record-breaking sci-fi film "Space Sweepers" starring Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, Yu Hae Rin, and Park Ye Rin is the first movie to premiere in BIFF.
Meanwhile, the new category "On Screen Section'' was made due to the growing popularity of Korean contents in the international scene. Biggest film festivals around the world such as the Toronto International Film Festival and Venice International Film Festival, also have the same category of "On Screen Section."
Recently, Yoo Ah In's forthcoming Netflix series "Hellbound" was confirmed to premiere in Toronto International Film Festival. And after the recognition that the drama received ahead of its scheduled broadcast.

Hellbound and My Name to Have its Much-Anticipated Premiere at BIFF
BIFF announced that they will also be premiering "Hellbound" for this year's event. Joining the lineup is the upcoming mystery series "My Name" starring rising actress and "Nevertheless" star Han So Hee.
‘Hellbound’ to Premiere in Toronto International Film Festival
Action-mystery series "My Name" is expected to captivate the viewers' interest for it will center the story around a female character named Yoon Jin Woo, who will be played by actress Han So Hee. It will illustrate the revenge of a woman who goes undercover as a detective to expose the real reason behind her father's death.

"Itaewon Class" actor Ahn Bo Hyun and actor Park Hee Soon are also part of the lead cast.
The previous and successful Korean series "Sweet Home," "Kingdom," and "Extracurricular" will also be presented in Busan International Film Festival.
Netflix's upcoming series "Hellbound" and "My Name" to have its world premiere through the Busan International Film Festival.
