The finale episode began with Cheon Seo Jin's (Kim So Yeon) trial.
Her daughter, Ha Eun Byeol (Choi Ye Bin), stood as the witness behind the former primadonna's wickedness, including the murder of her grandfather, Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) and Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah.)
At the witness stand, she confessed that she saw everything and cited that she was the root of Seo Jin's evilness.
Following her confession, she attempts to kill herself, which causes the commotion inside the courtroom.
In the end, Seo Jin was sentenced to a maximum penalty of life imprisonment due to three counts of murder.
