"Lovers in Paris" is among the OG series that started K-drama fandom globally by captivating the viewers with Cinderella-like story between Park Shin Yang and Kim Jung Eun's characters.

Moreover, it was also screenwriter Kim Eun Sook's claim to fame after releasing her several top-rating dramas "Secret Garden," "The Heirs," "Descendants of the Sun," and "Goblin."

At the time, the rom-com drama achieved its massive success, gaining soaring ratings and overwhelming support from fans.

According to reports, "Lovers in Paris" viewership rating averages at 41.3 percent and a peak of 57.6%, making it the eleventh highest-rated series of all time.

The mega-hit drama follows the thrilling love story of Kang Tae Young, played by Kim Jung Eun, who decides to move to Paris to study film.

To support her studies, she works odd jobs, including being a housekeeper for a well-known Korean businessman who happens to be CEO Han Ki Joo.

A business partnership led Han Gi Joo to ask Tae Young if she could act as his fiancé.

Just when they are about to start their budding relationship, his nephew, Yoon Soo Hyuk, played by Lee Dong Gun, was stunned by Tae Young's charm
