Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun to Possibly Lead ‘Little Women’ to be Helmed by ‘Vincenzo’ Director Kim Hee Won
Another exciting K-drama is expected to air in the first half of 2022.
JTBC stated on their report on September 24 that Yumi's Cells actress Kim Go Eun and The Witch's Diner star Nam Ji Hyun are rumored to star in the new K-Drama Little Women also known as Little Ladies.
Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun's Agencies Released Statements Regarding their Drama Appearance for Little Women
Just hours after the news made a buzz on the online community, Kim Go Eun's agency BH Entertainment released a statement saying that the Goblin star has received a casting offer to lead in Little Women and she is currently reviewing it.
Furthermore, Nam Ji Hyun's home agency Management Soop also confirmed that the actress was cast to appear in the drama and she is positively considering the project.
Vincenzo director Kim Hee Won is expected to helm Little Women. The Handmaiden writer Jeong Seo Kyung will pen the script.

What to Expect from Upcoming K-Drama Little Women
Meanwhile, Little Women is scheduled to start the filming production in the second half of 2021 and is slated to premiere in the first half of 2022. The well-known company Studio Dragon will produce the drama. They are also the one who produced the megahit K-Drama Vincenzo.
The production is still in search of another female actress to join the lead cast. Little Women tells the coming-of-age story of three sisters who are trying their best to survive a poor life. They may be financially unstable, but they have a strong connection to some of the powerful families in Korea, which will help them to level up their status in life.

If Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun accept the casting offers, Little Women will be their first drama together. They are known for being versatile and good at their crafts and seeing them in one frame is already something to look forward to.
Kim Go Eun currently appears in tvN's new-webtoon based series Yumi's Cells along with Ahn Bo Hyun, GOT7's Jinyoung, and SHINee's Minho. Meanwhile, Nam Ji Hyun just finished her fantasy drama The Witch's Diner last August, where she worked with Running Man host Song Ji Hyo and new rising Kdrama actor Chae Jong Hyeop.
