"Good Boy" Kim Seon Ho is confirmed to remain as the male protagonist in the upcoming film "Sad Tropical." Various K-media insiders reported that the actor will resume working after the "Actor K" controversy.

After discussions, the investment distributor of the movie "Sad Tropical" and director Park Hoon Jung finally decided to retain "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" actor Kim Seon Ho as the male lead in the forthcoming film. 

Since the "forced abortion" made headlines on various news outlets for a week, Kim Seon Ho's upcoming projects were postponed. But as the truth came to light after Dispatch revealed the real story behind the issue, the actor began to regain the activities he had lost.

"Sad Tropical" marks Kim Seon Ho's big screen debut. In the recent report, "Ms. Hammurabi" actress Go Ara will also star in the movie, alongside the "Start-Up" actor. 

It has been said that Go Ara was easily drawn to the characters and immediately attracted to the story concept of "Sad Tropical."

Fans are now anticipating to see the two actors in one frame.

This movie is expected to be director Park Hoon Jung's next work after helming "The Witch: Part 2."

Originally, the production was scheduled to start filming in November but was moved to December.

Meanwhile, details about the cast and premiere are yet to be announced.

Will Kim Seon Ho Still Appear in '2 O'clock Date' and 'Dog Days'?

After he released a public apology, Kim Seon Ho also stepped down from being a regular host of the KBS 2TV's variety show "2 Days & 1 Night."

Aside from that, the "Welcome to Waikiki 2" star was reported to be replaced in his two more movies in "2 O'clock Date" and "Dog Days," where he was supposed to work with SNSD's YoonA and Oscar winner Youn Yuh Jung, respectively.

The two films are slated to start the production in March 2022, but the managements of the said movies have not yet released any statements whether they will replace Kim Seon Ho or will reserve his position to be part of the cast.
