Choi Woo Sik Rumored to be Dating 'Itaewon Class' Star Park Seo Joon
Unlike other actors who have been caught in a dating scandal, Choi Woo Sik has a different case. Not only did he get involved in a dating rumor, but he got caught in a rumor with a man.
In 2015, a dating scandal surrounding "Parasite" actor Choi Woo Sik broke out. The two have been seen hanging out with each other a lot, even sharing their closeness on their social media accounts.
The actors also show support to each other whenever one of them achieves a milestone, or receives a new drama offer.
However, during Choi Woo Sik's press conference for his then drama "Hogu's Love," he addressed the rumors about him being in a relationship with fellow actor and close friend Park Seo Joon.
He explained that the two of them are extremely close friends, saying, "I'm close with Park Seo Joon and we frequently hang out together. Maybe that's the reason why rumors about us started to spiral."
According to the actor, fans bombarded him with questions about him and the "Itaewon Class" actor.
One of the things that also backed up the rumors were the gentle kiss the two shared in their previous sitcom "Family."

Choi Woo Sik explained that the assumptions about his sexual orientation and preferences are completely false, and had been trying to change his image to appear more masculine.
"I took boxing lessons to change my image," Choi Woo Sik shared with a laugh.
The rumors about the two were proven to be false, but Choi Woo Sik and Park Seo Joon's friendship and closeness remained the same.

During an interview with Allure Korea Magazine, the "Parasite" actor shared that was into women after he set his sexuality straight to shoot down the rumors.
Admittedly, Choi Woo Sik shyly stated that he was into women with wide hips. He said, "I like women with wide hips, of course. I like pretty lips, or a pretty smile and laugh."
However, the mentioned traits were all superficial. The actor continued to discuss his ideal type deeper, saying, "I like a woman whom I can deeply connect with. If we don't really manage to hold a conversation together, my heart won't go to her."
If given the chance to date, Choi Woo Sik would like to hike together with his special someone. He added, "We'd go hiking and when we come back, we'd drink makgeolli (Korean rice wine alcoholic beverage) together."
Despite his romantic personality, the actor is currently single. Choi Woo Sik decided not to pursue a romantic relationship and focus more on his acting career.
