Idol-actress Park Ji Yeon to make a return to the silver screen with her first-ever movie lead role to be released in next year. She was cast as the heroine of the zombie movie "Gangnam."
It tells the story of people living in Gangnam, which becomes the center of chaos after unknown symptoms appear, and people start to risk their lives in order to survive.
The "Imitation" actress takes the role of Min Jung, a fierce female protagonist who is struggling with her life to survive zombies.
Ji Il Ju Joins Park Ji Yeon in the Action-Zombie Theme Movie 'Gangnam'
Joining her in the project is "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo'' star Ji Il Ju, who plays the character of Hyun Seok, a guy who once dreamed of becoming a promising Taekwondo player. Like Min Jung, he will have a hard time escaping from a company where the zombies are trapped.
He showed steady performances from his previous works such as "Hotel King," "Suspicious Partner," "Hello, My Twenties! 2," "Two Cops," "Mistress," "Find Me in Your Memory," and more.
