Seolhyun to Possibly Join Im Siwan in New Webtoon-Based Drama ‘Summer Strike’

'Awaken' Actress Seolhyun to Possibly Work with 'Tracer' Actor Im Siwan
On January 10, multiple K-media reports announced that AOA's Seolhyun is in talks to team up with "Tracer" actor in a project. According to an entertainment insider, the two are courted to lead "Summer Strike" (working title), which is based on the popular webtoon "I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything."
The drama depicts the story of a woman who declared a life strike at the age of 28. Seolhyun is offered to play the role of Lee Yeo Reum. After graduating from college, she went to a company, The Woman which was established five years ago. She becomes a full-time worker in just a span of three months. She leaves Seoul to start living in a small seaside village called Angol, and lives in an empty billiard hall in the said neighborhood.

Seolhyun is recognized as an actress and as a singer. Her performances in "Awaken" and "My Country: The New Age" were praised for her stable acting skills, solidifying the actor's true value, and actively communicating with the public.

Seolhyun to Appear in 'The Murderer's Shopping List' with Lee Kwang Soo
Apart from her potential drama with Im Siwan, Seolhyun already confirmed her appearance in the forthcoming tvN series "The Murderer's Shopping List" alongside former "Running Man" mainstay Lee Kwang Soo. The drama is expected to air in the first half of 2022.

"Fight for My Way" actress Jin Hee Kyung also confirmed her participation in the project.
Meanwhile, "Summer Strike" will be helmed by director Lee Yoon Jung who is also the man behind the dramas "Coffee Prince," "Golden Time," and "Cheese in the Trap."
After the news broke out, Im Siwan's management Plum A&C released an announcement stating that "Summer Strike" is one of the projects proposed to the actor and is being taken into consideration.
Furthermore, Im Siwan just had his drama return with "Tracer" that occupies "The Red Sleeve Cuff" time slots every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. (KST). The newly released action suspense series can be streamed through MBC and Wavve.
