Park So Dam Reveals New Film ‘Special Delivery’ Greatly Helped Her Overcome Fear of Driving
Actress Park So Dam dished out her thoughts on her new film "Special Delivery," how she prepared for her role and more.
Park So Dam Shares Preparation for Immersive Acting in 'Special Delivery'
The new film "Special Delivery" stars Park So Dam as Jang Eun Ha, a top notch driver who has a 100% success rate when it comes to making special deliveries.
She will deliver anything in the speed of a lightning, but securely, for a great price. Unexpectedly, she finds herself taking on a human cargo in the form of the young boy Kim Seo Won, played by Jung Hyun Joon.
The actress dished out her thoughts on her very first solo lead film, saying, "It's the first time my face is appearing so big on a poster that will be seen in many theaters. I'm very excited."
Apart from the bigger responsibilities, Park So Dam feels more grateful than burdened. She thanked her fellow "Special Delivery" stars, Kim Eui Sung and Song Sae Byuk, who cheered her on and gave her strength from the very first script reading.
In order to prepare for her role, she received action training twice a week for three consecutive months with the martial arts director and her student double.

Because Park So Dam's character has a unique hair color, the production unit of the film rented a hair salon in Busan to achieve the beautiful color.
The actress poured her heart out and expressed her gratitude to her stunt double, who also dyed her hair the same color during filming.
"I was able to do it [difficult stunts and filming], thanks to her," the actress said.
'Special Delivery' Helps Park So Dam in Overcoming Her Driving Fear
Regarding her driving skills, the actress honestly said, "I can personally take my grandmother to the hospital, take my parents out to eat something delicious and pick someone up."
"I was afraid to just ride the car during filming because I've been in a car accident before," Park So Dam shared.
She continued, "The production team and driver Eun Ha helped me get through it, so my past fear disappeared. I've gotten better since."
Park So Dam Dishes Out Her Career and Life Goals
Unbeknownst to everyone, Park So Dam is now celebrating her 10th year since debut. When asked about her plans for her future career, she said that she wants to work in the industry for a very long time.
If an opportunity of starring in a foreign project knocks on her door, she will immediately grab it.
Another thing Park So Dam wants to achieve is to become healthy, not only in physical terms but she also wants to have a healthy mind and heart.
"I want to live longer. Healthily and happily. I want to experience everything life has to offer," she said.
On the other hand, "Special Delivery" starring Park So Dam, Song Sae Byuk, Kim Eui Sung and Jung Hyun Joon premiered on January 12 nationwide.
