In an episode of KBS2's "Happy Together," the actor recalled the time when he first met his now-wife.
At the time, they were asked to pick a partner and chose Ahn Hee Sun.
"I met my wife for the first time in 6th grade. We were told to pair up with the person we liked, so we paired up.
During the interview, he also revealed that they had only broken up once and lasted for three months.
After dating for 19 years, he popped the question and got married in 2006 and was blessed with a child named Oh Si Yeon.
Being married for almost 16 years is no joke, but Oh Jung Se and his wife have a trick to maintain a healthy relationship.
The actor also mentioned that they use formal language to speak with each other despite being the same age.
According to some experts, it is a way to discourage arguments from arising and help to solve problems quickly.

Oh Jung Se Once Dated a Lucky Fan and Went to an Amusement Park
At the height of his Kdrama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," Oh Jung Se granted a fan's wish to meet him in person.
Cellist Bae Boum Jun, who was diagnosed with autism, spent the whole day at Lotte World while the actor was dressed as his character Moon Sang Tae.
To recall, he portrayed the older brother of Kim Soo Hyun, who was born with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a disability that affects a person's social, communication and behavioral skills.
Interestingly, the fan's sister documented their "date" and lauded the actor for paying attention to her brother despite his condition.
"Oh Jung Se was Moon Sang Tae the whole time he was with my brother. He paid attention to the smallest detail and focused on my brother's needs," the sister wrote, adding, "As soon as my brother met Sang Tae, the two of them went on all the amusement rides. Every moment, he was a friend to my brother. He kept talking and listening to my brother."
Over the comment section, fans were moved by the post and praised the actor for his kindness.
