On May 17, Jung Ryeo Won was reported to lead the upcoming romance drama entitled "The Jobless Married Couple" (working title).

In response to the reports, Jung Ryeo Won's agency, H& Entertainment, stated, "Jung Ryeo Won received an offer to star in the new drama "The Jobless Married Couple," and is currently positively reviewing it."
"The Jobless Married Couple" tells the story of a husband and wife who resigned from their jobs. It focuses on how to enjoy one's life without thinking of responsibilities and more.

The actress was offered the role of the main character Yoon Hye Ja, a publishing planner who studied Korean literature in college.

Alongside Lee Kyu Hyung, the drama depicts the stories of public defenders who get entangled in a serial murder case.
In the drama, Jung Ryeo Won stars as No Chak Hee, top-notch lawyer with a high winning rate while Lee Kyu Hyung plays the role of Jwa Shi Baek, a coldhearted public defense lawyer.
Despite their differences, the lawyers have one thing in common: they both have determination and passion to defend the poor and weak.
