Fans are looking forward to Son Seok Koo fulfilling his promise now that "The Roundup" has surpassed the 10 million mark.
The action crime film set a new record after becoming the highest-grossing movie in May, making history at the Korean box office.
In a report cited by Osen, "The Roundup," also known as "The Outlaws 2" reached a total of 10,503,886 audiences as of June 12.
Moreover, since it premiered on May 18, it dominated the top spot at the box office for four consecutive weeks and has achieved the record for the longest weekend at the box office among the films released in 2022.
With the sequel exceeding 10 million audiences, fans recalled the time when Son Seok Koo promised one thing during his guesting at SBS Power FM's "Cultwo Show."

On June 2, the South Korean star appeared at the SBS show, where he shared his thoughts about the movie's overwhelming success.
At the time, the action crime film was about to hit 8 million audiences during its second week of screening.

After expressing his gratitude to viewers and fans who supported the sequel, he said that he would return to the radio show and perform.
"If the film surpassed 10 million moviegoers, I would come to 'Cultwo Show' again and sing a song," he said and picked a song that he wanted to sing when he returned. "I will sing HAREEM's song 'Departure from a Country' from beginning to end.
Because of this, fans are excited to see Son Seok Koo do his own cover of the famous track.
'The Roundup' Cast and Synopsis
The highly anticipated sequel of "The Outlaws" continues to pique the interest of not only local viewers but also global audiences.
"The Roundup," which was to 132 countries, has also premiered in various parts of Asia and European countries like France and Germany.
The film, helmed by Kang Yoon Sung and Lee Sang Yong, who are also behind the first installment, continues the journey of the fearless detective Ma Suk Do, played by Ma Dong-Sook.
After four years since he and his group wiped out crimes in Garibong-dong, the monster detective and his crimes squad are set to carry out a mission.
They are after the new villain and serial killer, Gang Hae Sang, portrayed by Son Seok Koo, who moved to Vietnam from South Korea to escape his crimes.
Joining Son Seok Koo and Ma Dong Seok in "The Roundup" cast is fellow lead star Choi Gwi Hwa as Chief Jeon. in addition, Kim Seung Hyun played the Korean gangster, while Park Ji Hwan and Heo Dong-Won reprised their roles.
