Son Seok Koo once again made hearts swoon as he graced Esquire Korea's magazine cover. 

The 39-year-old star shows off his unique charisma for the publication's July issue. Interestingly, this is also his first time landing a fashion magazine cover.

In a series of black and white photos, the actor flaunted his oozing sexiness, teasing fans with his perfectly chiseled abs. 

Moreover, this is also in collaboration with Yves Saint Laurent as the Son Seok Koo appeared with his dapper looks, wearing a head-to-toe ensemble from the French luxury fashion house. 

Over Esquire Korea's Instagram, the publication described the versatile star as "undoubtedly the hottest actor" at the moment since he has been receiving an overwhelming response after the hype of his Kdrama "My Liberation Notes" and the movie "The Outlaws 2," also known as "The Roundup."

The comments section was filled with happy netizens as the publication highlighted Son Seok Koo's charm. 

Apart from gracing Esquire Korea's July issue, the actor spoke about his projects this 2022 and his reaction to his back-to-back Kdrama and movie that has been gaining the hype of the public.

During the interview, he got honest and spoke that the global pandemic had affected him in some ways. 

As obtained by Newsen, Son Seok Koo felt that his life as an actor was put on hold because of the health crisis. 

To recall, his pre-pandemic Kdrama was the 2019 series "Be Melodramatic" and made a comeback for Netflix's "D.P" alongside Jung Hae In and Goo Kyo Hwan. 

It was then followed by a cameo in Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon's thriller mystery Kdrama "Jirisan."

Interestingly, Son Seok Koo proved his supremacy in 2022 after starring in multiple and not to mention blockbuster projects. 

As mentioned, JTBC's "My Liberation Notes" is among the year's most talked-about series as the melodrama ends with its highest viewership ratings after garnering 6.7 percent.

While his team-up with Kim Ji Won dominated the small screen, "The Roundup," where Son Seok Koo played the villain, alongside Ma Dong Seok, made history at the Korean box office after surpassing 10 million audiences.

With this, he pointed out that the hype of both projects was "dramatic" but was thankful that he became part of "My Liberation Notes" and "The Roundup."

"The process of 'My Liberation Notes' receiving a lot of attention now was dramatic, but personally, I was lucky because it led to 'The Roundup.' It was really good," he said, 

In addition to this, Son Seok Koo also mentioned how fellow actor Cha Tae Hyun supported him throughout the filming. He said that the "Police University" star "cheered" him over the phone as his two projects received positive responses from the viewers. 

"The synergy of making a drama with entertaining," Cha Tae Hyun tells him over the phone.

Viewers will get to see Son Seok Koo in series and movies as the actor has a slew of upcoming projects. 

He is set to reprise his role as Captain Im Ji Sup in "D.P 2" and recently returned from The Philippines after shooting the forthcoming Kdrama "Casino."
