On July 17, the series' latest episode was released and received positive feedback from the public.
"Alchemy of Souls" highlighted Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook's characters' passion, determination and drive to do their best just to see each other again, making viewers' hearts flutter.

Because of this, "Alchemy of Souls" episode 10 earned an average rating of 7%, its highest viewership ratings yet.
It is 1.8% higher than the recorded rating during its premiere as well as its previous episode. In particular, the drama climbed to the top, taking first place in its time slot across all channels.

'Alchemy of Souls' To Begin Principal Filming For Part 2
Earlier this month, the production unit of "Alchemy of Souls" announced that the filming for the second part of the series is currently in the works!

As the drama enters its second half, the production unit begins the principal filming for Part 2.
The drama was divided into two parts since the intricate storyline of the series couldn't be packed into just one work.
According to director Park Jun Hwa, the Part 2 consists of 10 episodes with one hour running time each in addition to the 20 episodes of the current series.

The director stated that "Alchemy of Souls" Part 2 is quite different from the Part 1 as it will include spin-offs and side stories starring the supporting roles.
