According to an outlet, Son Ye Jin requested her good friend Gong Hyo Jin to make a special appearance in the 2018 movie "Be With You" where she stars alongside So Ji Sub.
Both stars played the role of married couple Lim Soo Ah and Jeong Woo Jin who were separated because of fate.
While the romance-fantasy movie also features Park Seo Joon and Kim Ha Neul for a cameo, Gong Hyo Jin appeared as per the request of Son Ye Jin where she took the role of the mysterious Hanbok girl.
Based on the outlet, the top star didn't bring her own hanbok and didn't read the script.
However, Gong Hyo Jin, being a versatile actress known for doing improvs, nailed the scene and naturally performed as what the director told her, making everyone, including Son Ye Jin, impressed with her acting skills.
The "Crash Landing on You" star and Gong Hyo Jin were last seen together during BinJin's wedding last March.

Dubbed the "wedding of the century," the couple had their much-awaited wedding at the luxurious Grand Walkerhill hotel in Seoul, where only 300 guests, including the couple's family, relatives, and close friends, attended the event.
Although the main highlight was the matrimony of the power couple, Gong Hyo Jin sent fans into a major frenzy after outlets revealed that she was the one who caught the flowers.
As noted by CNA Lifestyle, South Korean site Sports Chosun revealed that the "It's Okay That's Love" star was dating Korean American singer Kevin Oh, after they were spotted at BinJin's wedding.
At the height of the actress' dating rumors, Gong Hyo Jin's agency, Management SOOP addressed the issue and confirmed that she is dating the musician.
"It is true that she is in a relationship with Kevin Oh," the talent label clarified.
Apart from dating rumors, the actress is reportedly set to walk down the aisle, following her best friend, Son Ye Jin.
However, the management gave a vague answer and said, "It is difficult to say yet. We will share another announcement if there is good news in the future."
Gong Hyo Jin's boyfriend, Kevin Oh, is 11 years her senior and gained popularity after winning Superstar K7 in 2015 and became a part of the JTBC's "Superband" in 2019.
