Lee Sung Kyung

Because she portrayed a character who's a weightlifting athlete, Lee Sung Kyung needed to enhance her muscle density as well as strengthen her body.

In "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," she transformed into a top weightlifter. To pull off the role, Lee Sung Kyung put on weight instead of using a body suit, showing her dedication.

With her passion and hard work, the series became her most successful drama, and even earned her a nod as the best actress at the MBC Drama Awards.

Heo Sung Tae

To ensure that he looks rugged and intimidating, Heo Sung Tae purposely gained weight after he was cast as the villainous player in the syndrome-level series "Squid Game."
