‘Dr Romantic 3 Cast’: Kim Min Jae Confirmed to Join Han Seok Ku, Lee Sung Kyung, More
Kim Min Jae officially joins the "Dr. Romantic 3" cast along with lead stars Han Seok Ku, Lee Sung Kyung, and Ahn Hyo Seop.
As the beloved medical K-drama gears up for its return, more stars, composed of old and new cast members are confirmed to join the series.
Kim Min Jae Confirmed to Return as Nurse Park Eun Tak in 'Dr. Romantic 3'
According to a media outlet, Kim Min Jae's agency, Naym Naym Entertainment, announced the actor's upcoming project.
"Kim Min Jae has confirmed his appearance in the SBS drama 'Dr. Romantic 3'" the agency announced, adding that the highly anticipated series is scheduled to air in the first half of 2023.
Following the confirmation, the actor-rapper will reprise his role as nurse Park Eun Tak, the role he played for two seasons.
In addition, viewers will get to see his chemistry with So Ju Yeon as the actress recently confirmed her appearance, reprising her role as Yoon Ah Reum.
Apart from the lead stars, Kim Min Jae and So Ju Yeon, "Dr. Romantic 3" cast will also feature the return of Dr. Park Min Guk played by Kim Joo Heon, as well as the fierce head nurse Oh Myung Shim, portrayed by Jin Kyung.
Adding to the list of "Dr. Romantic 3" cast are Yoon Na Moo and Byun Woo Min, who appeared in seasons 1 and 2, along with Shin Dong Wook, Im Won Hee, and Jung Ji Ahn.
Moreover, the upcoming sequel also features new cast members which include "Inspector Koo" alum Lee Hong Nae who is set to portray a military doctor while Lee Shin Young from "Crash Landing on You" as a rookie doctor.

The beloved medical K-drama aired its first season in 2016 with cast including Han Seok Kyu, Seo Hyun Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Min Jae, Yang Se Jong, and more followed by the second season in 2020 introducing a new cast, Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Jung Kyung,
Interestingly, apart from its entertaining plot, and roster of talented cast members, "Dr. Romantic" also received a double-digit viewership rating.
The first season wrapped up with 24.7 percent while the second season concluded with 24.4 percent.
What's Next for Kim Min Jae Besides 'Dr. Romantic 3'?
The rapper-actor recently appeared in the medical historical K-drama "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" where he played royal physician Yoo Se Poong along with Kim Hyang Gi and Kim Sang Kyung.
Interestingly, the tvN series gets a green light to return for another sequel.
It was revealed in the drama's last episode that "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" will return for season 2 in 2023.
It only means that Kim Min Jae will have back-to-back projects in the coming year.
