Jung Kyung Ho Describes ‘Men of Plastic’ Co-Star Ma Dong Seok As ‘Older Brother’
Jung Kyung Ho details his working relationship with "Men of Plastic" co-star Ma Dong Seok and his longtime friendship with the fellow top star.
The 39-year-old actor joined fellow stars Oh Nara, Oh Yeon Seo, Choi Byung Mo, and Director Im Jin Soon for the press conference about their upcoming movie.
Jung Kyung Ho Dishes on Working Relationship With 'Men of Plastic' Co-Star Ma Dong Seok
As obtained by a media outlet, Jung Kyung Ho spoke about his 20-year friendship with Ma Dong Seok.
During the interview, he mentioned that "The Marvels" star had influenced him not just as an actor but in all parts of his life.
Jung Kyung Ho continued to praise Ma Dong Seok and said that he sees him as his "hyung" which means "older brother."
"He's a hyung I've known since before my debut. About 20 years," he said.
Moreover, the actor says that he feels "proud" that he was able to work with him through the film "Men of Plastic."
'Men of Plastic' Release Date and Cast
Directed by Im Jin Soon of "Ordinary People" and "Superstar," the upcoming movie "Men of Plastic" follows the story of Apgujeong native Dae Gook, played by Ma Dong Seok, who had his bold move to the city to start a groundbreaking plastic surgery business.
Throughout his journey, he meets Ji Woo, played by Jung Kyung Ho, one of Seoul's most talented surgeons; however, amid his skyrocketing career, he gets caught up in an incident.
Ji Woo, a cold but skillful plastic surgeon lost his medical license by misfortune but Dae Gook hired him to be his business partner.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that Jung Kyung Ho played the role of a surgeon.
To recall, among his remarkable K-dramas is the beloved medical series "Hospital Playlist'' where he played cardiothoracic surgeon Kim Jun Wan.

Meanwhile, Oh Nara, who recently appeared in "Alchemy of Souls," took on the role of Mi Jung, who runs the plastic surgery business along with Dae Guk and Ji Woo.
On the other hand, "Men of Plastic" will mark Oh Yeon Seo's big screen comeback after the 2018 movie "Cheese in the Trap."
Following the press conference, "Men of Plastic" is slated to hit the theaters on November 30.
Will Jung Kyung Ho Return With a New Drama?
While viewers patiently wait for the official announcement regarding "Hospital Playlist 3," Jung Kyung Ho will have his small screen comeback through the upcoming series "Ilta Scandal."
The actor will headline the upcoming K-drama along with Jeon Do Yeon.
From the doctor, Jung Kyung Ho will transform into the popular teacher, Choi Chi Yeol.
As of this writing, there were no updates regarding the drama's release but it will be broadcasted through tvN.
