Song Joong Ki New Instagram: Actor Dedicates Post to THIS ‘Reborn Rich’ Co-Star
Ahead of the much-awaited season finale of "Reborn Rich" lead star Song Joong Ki paid tribute to his co-star Lee Sung Min following a heartbreaking episode.
Since the debut of the show, the JTBC series continue to rake in viewership and not to mention the overwhelming hype on social media as the weekend K-drama never fails to amaze viewers with shocking twists per episode.
As "Reborn Rich" aired its 13th episode, viewers get to witness the unexpected turns as Jin Yang Chul, the Soonyang Group founder, and chairman, played by Lee Sung Min has passed away.
After surviving a failed assassination, Jin Yang Chul died due to his illness leaving no inheritance behind for his favorite grandson Jin Do Joon, played by Song Joong Ki.
There's no denying that episode 13 is one of the highlights of the whole season as it hints at the unexpected person behind the attempted murder involving Jin Do Joon and Jin yang Chul.
The episode skyrocketed to soaring viewership after Nielsen Korea reported that it garnered an average nationwide rating of 22.456 percent.
Interestingly, "Reborn Rich" episode 14 marked an all-time high for the show after landing a whopping 24.936 percent.
With this, Song Joong Ki's drama became 2nd highest-rated series in cable TV history, beating the mega-hit 2018 K-drama "SKY Castle."
However, the British remake of "Doctor Foster" titled "The World of the Married" which stars Kim Hee Ae, Park Hae Soo, and Han So Hee remained unbeatable for the top highest-rated series in cable TV history.

With only two episodes left, Song Joong Ki teases viewers with never before seen photos of the actor with veteran star Lee Sung Min.
In his recent Instagram post, the Hallyu star pens a short yet heartwarming message to his on-screen grandfather.

Along with a series of photos taken during the production, Song Joong Ki's Instagram caption reads "I love you, Grandpa," referring to the award-winning actor.
Over the comment section, viewers expressed how they will miss Lee Sung Min's character as well as the chemistry between him and Song Joong ki.
In addition, fans also pointed out the heartbreaking scene in episode 14, especially the recording of Chairman Jin Yang Chul.
Viewers Expect Lee Sung Min to Win a Daesang
Apart from "Reborn Rich" being Song Joong ki's K-drama comeback, viewers also fell in love with the cast lineup, especially with how Lee Sung Min portrays Chairman Jin yang Chul.
With this, a report cited that the audience pointed out why the veteran star deserved an award for his daesang-worthy performance in "Reborn Rich."
