Lee Seung Gi Delivers Short Yet Sincere Greetings to Fans After Winning Daesang at 2022 KBS Drama Awards
Lee Sung Gi started 2023 by delivering a heartfelt message to fans on New Year's Day.
The news comes after the top star bagged Daesang at the recently concluded 2022 KBS Drama Awards.
The award-winning actor took to social media to express his gratitude to his fans for supporting him throughout his career.

On his recent Instagram post, Lee Seung Gi expressed his sincere gratitude to viewers and fans as he was able to receive another achievement, thanks to their support.
"The 'Daesang' from the '2022 KBS Drama Awards'. I want to sincerely thank all of you for giving me this precious award," he said.
Moreover, the top star also expressed his wish to all his supporters for a new year and hints at upcoming projects.
"I pray that 2023 will be a happier and healthier year for all of you, and I also ask that you continue to look forward to, and cheer on, artist Lee Seung Gi's activities in the New Year," he added.
To recall, the triple threat bagged another Daesang or grand prize award for his performance in the rom-com series, "The Law Cafe" along with Lee Se Young.
In the drama, Lee Seung Gi transformed into a monster genius prosecutor Kim Jung Ho who has a complicated relationship with the eccentric lawyer, Kim Yu Ri.
Interestingly, his agency, Human Made also released a series of behind-the-scenes of Lee Sung Gi's appearance at the annual ceremony.
Apart from his touching message to fans, one thing that caught the public's attention is his major transformation.

Amid the actor's conflict with his then agency, Lee Seung Gi surprised the public with an unexpected hair transformation as the top star rocked a buzz-cut hairstyle.
During the annual ceremony, as Lee Seung Gi accepted the "Best Couple Award" with his "The Law Cafe" co-star, he clarified that he did not cut his hair because of problems but for his new role.

After "The Law Cafe" the singer-actor's next project is his big screen comeback, "Big Family" where he portrays the role of a monk.
"I shaved my head because I'm playing the role of a monk. I hope. A lot of people looked at it with sad eyes. I really wanted to say it," he explained.
Joining Lee Seung Gi, veteran actor Kim Yoon Seok will be among the main characters in the "Big Family."
Per reports, the production team began filming in November 2022, and will be released in late fall of 2023.
Interestingly, as for Lee Seung Gi's preparation, the actor reportedly has gone through the Buddhist initiation ceremony and even received a Buddhist name, Dowon.
