On February 7, top star Lee Seung Gi surprise-announced his marriage to Lee Da In. Through a handwritten letter, he informed the public of their upcoming wedding this April.
Fans and other public figures rejoiced at his big announcement. On the same day, former entertainment reporter and now YouTuber Lee Jin Ho created a buzz by claiming that Lee Seung Gi already proposed to Lee Da In in 2021.
In his latest upload, Lee Jin Ho shared that the meeting between the couple has been very mysterious for a long time. He added that Lee Da In asked an acquaintance to introduce her to Lee Seung Gi because she already liked him before as a celebrity. The two established a close relationship after playing golf.
The former reporter also said that Lee Da In and Lee Seung Gi had been close for way longer than the public knows. He added that the time when media outlets revealed that the two were dating and were getting to know each other, the truth was they were already past that phase and were actually close that the actress went to visit the actor's grandmother.

According to the YouTuber, Lee Seung Gi already proposed to Lee Da In- last December 2021 as they were spotted on Ulleungdo Island.
Lee Jin Ho added that there were four people at the scene and not just the celebrity couple.

Adding to the speculation, Jin Ho shared that the singer-actor is seen wearing beads similar to Kyeon Mi Ri, who will become his mother-in-law, and it has been said that she only gives beads to people who are really close to her.
The male YouTuber mentioned that Lee Seung Gi is a Christian, but with his love for Lee Da In, he went to a temple for her.
Meanwhile, in regard to Lee Seung Gi's soon-to-be-wife, Jin Ho said, "Lee Da In is not well-received by many, due to her family background, but the actor put in a lot of effort to support her while she was struggling."
Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In are expected to exchange wedding vows this coming April. The actor also expressed his affection as well as his hope to receive support from his fans.
