Kim Sae Ron’s Photos Playing Poker Go Viral Amid Claims of Financial Struggles
Kim Sae Ron once again made headlines after Dispatch released photos of the actress playing poker despite her claims she is experiencing financial struggles.
Since 2022, the celebrity has been getting criticisms after getting involved in a drunk driving incident. The controversy forced the actress to go on hiatus as she deals with the incident privately.
However, ten months since the DUI news broke, Kim Sae Ron personally appeared at the Seoul Central District Court for her first trial for violating Korea's Road Traffic Act.
At the time, reports said she appealed to the court and mentioned her current status, noting that she is facing financial struggles since she is also the breadwinner of the family.
Despite her plea, prosecutors asked the court to sentence "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star to a fine of 20 million won, or around 15,145 USD.
Following the news about Kim Sae Ron's financial struggles, a rumor sparked that she was seen playing poker at a gambling pub at the height of her DUI scandal.
However, at the time, it was only based on the witness' claims.
Dispatch Reveals Photos of Kim Sae Ron Playing Poker
Korean media outlet Dispatch managed to secure photos of the actress at the gambling pub and was playing Texas Hold'em, which is a type of poker.
The news portal described Kim Sae Ron as someone who "knows how to play Hold'em.
With this, the outlet pointed out that seeing the 22-year-old star play poker makes the public doubt her claims regarding her current status.

Moreover, Dispatch also raised that it's not about her playing poker but her "inconsistency" with her claims at the court.
"According to the informant, Kim Sae Ron charged her chips more than once. She also ordered a beer around 12 AM. She is alleged to have played for over three hours," the outlet mentioned as mentioned by the informant.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the star raised doubts about her court claims.
Is Kim Sae Ron Lying About Her Part-Time Job?
Right after her trial, the actress posted a series of photos of her working at a cafe. She was seen wearing a uniform and making beverages.
Back in November, her then-agency Gold Medalist confirmed rumors that the actress "got a part-time job" noting that he "livelihood is in a difficult circumstance."
However, according to a media outlet, the coffee chain, Mega Coffee, revealed that she "never worked as an official part-time employee" at any of their branches. However, it was the actress' friend who was employed at the company and works as a part-timer.
Due to this, the actress once again faces backlash from the public, claiming that she wants to get sympathy amid the controversy.
