Lee Doo Hak Faces Choi Cheol Woong In War Zone

In the previous episode, Choi Cheol Woong's (Chu Young Woo) family takes down Oh Man Ok (Jin Yi Han) after discovering the device that was planted on him by Lee Doo Hak (Jang Dong Yoon).

Lee Doo Hak then works with another prosecutor to release an article about Kang Yeo Jin (Kang Kyung Heon) and the dirty deeds that Choi Cheol Woong's family have been covering up for the longest time.

She then uses Lee Doo Hak's mother to corner him. Choi Cheol Woong then points a gun at him, coercing him to surrender the evidence he has against their family.

Because of this, Lee Doo Hak's mother reveals the truth about their relationship in hopes to save their lives.

Choi Cheol Woong Expresses Great Remorse

Lee Doo Hak tells Choi Cheol Woong that the one he calls mother is the one who killed Lee Jun Ho (Kim Myung Soo), their real father.

After putting two and two together, Choi Cheol Woong expresses his anger by aiming the gun at himself, expressing remorse.

Lee Doo Hak then shows his brotherly love by saving Choi Cheol Woong from a bullet, shedding blood in the process.

Choi Cheol Woong cries his heart out as Lee Doo Hak bleeds in his arms, creating a tense and melancholic atmosphere.


Everything Works Out In The End

Thankfully, Lee Doo Hak's men as well as the prosecutor he had been working with were able to trace down the bad guys that had a connection with him.

Kang Yeo Jin ends up being admitted to a mental hospital after living a narcissistic life which made everyone else around her suffer in great agony. Lee Doo Hak reunites with his poor mother, and vows to always protect her from harm.

The Happily Ever After

On the other hand, Lee Doo Hak, Choi Cheol Woong and Oh Jung Shin (Seol In Ah) watch a film together at the Namhae Theater like the old times, reliving their youth and glory.

After all that has happened, the couple, Lee Doo Hak and Oh Jung Shin, whose love withstood time proves that forever exists through their romantic connection.

At long last, they finally get the happily ever after they deserve; and were also able to reconnect the severed ties they had with their childhood friend Choi Cheol Woong.
