Fans of the bromance are in for a treat. Three top actors are going to become good friends in an upcoming film titled "Good Friends." The extent of their friendship will be tested when they become involved in a murder.

The actors already have something in common before they meet on set. All three appeared in recent dramas. Ji Sung, who recently enjoyed success with the melodrama "Secrets," will play an emergency medical technician. His character has a young daughter. As well as playing the revenge-seeking chaebol in "Secrets," Ji Sung is known for his comic roles in series such as "Protect the Boss." Ji Sung also appeared in a few films, most recently "My PS Partner" in 2012.

Ju Ji Hoon, known to fans as the crown prince in "The Princess Hours" and the bakery owner in the film "Antique Bakery," is finishing his role as a doctor on "Medical Top Team." In "Good Friends he will play In Chul, a con man who is employed by an insurance company." Besides "Antique Bakery,' Ju Ji Hoon also appeared in the films "Naked Kitchen" and "I Am A King."

Last but not least is Lee Kwang Soo who played a trouble-making prince in the recent historical drama "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji." Besides appearing in several dramas, Lee has had a few small film roles and dubbed voices for children's films such as "Maritime Marco." He is best known for his appearances on the variety show "Running Man."

In "Good Friends," Lee Kwang Soo will play Min Soo, a small business owner.

Min Soo is a loyal friend to his buddies but he's also softhearted enough to get talked into situations he probably should avoid. All three men will become entangled in a crime that could end their friendship.

It was the relationship between the men that attracted Lee Kwang Soo to the role.

"I was fascinated by the deep friendship between the characters and the script was so interesting that I read it in one go," said Lee Kwang Soo. "I became very attached to Min Soo's character."

Opus Pictures, the company, which is responsible for the box office hits, "Snowpiercer" and "The Man From Nowhere," will produce the film.

Lee Do Yoon will direct and has written the screenplay, which is scheduled to begin shooting in Janaury. "Good Friends," also known as "Goodfellas," will be the director's first film.
