Following the news of Han So Hee's departure from "The Price of Confession," her company 9ato Entertainment stated they were unaware of the actress' exit from the project.
On May 17, the company broke the silence and shared their side about the ongoing issue.

According to 9ato Entertainment, they only discovered the shocking news through online media reports.
"We also found out after reading the news. We are currently looking into the details."
Meanwhile, the production in charge of the series, Studio Dragon, explained that Production H, another company involved, is in charge of the administration regarding the casting.
Studio Dragon stated that they don't have any other information about the ongoing issue in production.

In a separate report, it has been said that "The Price of Confession" is already in danger of failing even before its filming because of the production team.
A media outlet revealed that Song Hye Kyo, Han So Hee, and the director of the series decided not to join the project because of the lack of communication from the company in charge of overseeing the whole production.

To recall, fans were shocked after reports claimed that lead stars Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee had decided not to appear in the drama. When the news broke out, it was reported that the actresses' decisions were due to disagreements with the production team in charge.
Director Shim Na Yeon, who is supposed to helm the drama, also withdrew from the team.
"The Price of Confession" features the story of two women involved in a murder case, an art teacher who longs for small happiness, and a mysterious lady who is feared by everyone.
