Woo Do Hwan Exposes Close Friendship With 'Joseon Attorney' Co-Star Bona

Woo Do Hwan showed his gratitude following the success of his drama comeback "Joseon Attorney."

On May 20, through an Instagram post, the actor shared some of the never-before-seen photos and clips of the series, with the caption, "It's a comeback work after three years, I was full of fear and worry, but these wonderful actors, directors, and the hardworking staff of gave me a lot of strength."

He also thanked the viewers for showing their love to him. In one of the published videos, Woo Do Hwan featured a scene where his character Kang Han Soo hugs Lee Yeon Ju (WJSN's Bona).

However, after seeing the post, some of Bona's fans left malicious comments on Woo Do Hwan's post saying they felt bad and wanted to take the video down. Some claim that the drama stars' skinship level is too high.

'Joseon Attorney's' Woo Do Hwan Faces Backlash From Bona's Fans

When his followers on Instagram saw the malicious comments, Woo Do Hwan's fans tried to defend him.

"Why can't he post such things, they are too in demand."

"What does being an idol have to do with it? She filmed the drama as an actress."

"I don't understand why they are making a fuss saying the level of skinship is too high."

Woo Do Hwan and Bona worked for the first in MBC's newly concluded series "Joseon Attorney." It tells the journey of Kang Han Soo, an attorney in the Joseon era that dealt with lawsuits and litigation and helps the wronged people. He later meets Princess Lee Yeon Ju (Bona), who is living a free life after leaving the palace. 

Meanwhile, Woo Do Hwan is already booked to have his immediate return with new work. He will meet the viewers again beginning this June 9 as he headlines Netflix's original drama "Bloodhounds."

It follows the story of two young boxers joining forces with a man who was once a legend in the loan shark business, to stand against a vicious loan shark that preys on desperate people for money."

Woo Do Hwan is Kim Gun Woo, who went from a promising actor to jumping into the loan shark business.

Lee Sang Yi plays with Hong Woo Jin, a competitive boxer and friend of Kim Gun Woo.
