‘King the Land’ Episode 1: Lee Junho Has Unfortunate First Meeting With YoonA
While working on their different worlds in the hotel industry, Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA) and Gu Won (Lee Junho) had an unfortunate encounter in "King the Land" episode 1.
'King the Land' Episode 1: Cheon Sa Rang & Gu Won Build Career Paths in King Hotel
In "King the Land" episode 1, Cheon Sa Rang tried her luck to have a spot at the King Hotel. Right before she faced the panel, her heels broke, but it didn't stop her from making a great first impression on her interview.
Sadly, despite her confidence and smart responses, she fell short on getting the job.
Thanks to her best friends Oh Pyeong Hwa (Go Won Hee) and Kang Da Eul (Kim Ga Eun), they comforted her and drowned her misery in alcohol at the club. The next day, Cheon Sa Rang received a call informing her that she got hired at the King Hotel.
Elsewhere, Gu Won made his grand entrance by jumping off a plane with a parachute, only to find out that he landed at the wrong building, which caused him to be late on his first day as an intern.
However, he immediately got fired on his first day due to his inability to manage in an office environment.
Interestingly, after a series of unfortunate events, everyone found out he is the only son of The King Hotel's chairman. He gave Noh Sang Sik (Ahn Se Ha) a full-time position to be his secretary after the managers belittled him as an intern.
It was also shown that Gu Won doesn't have a good relationship with his sister, who wants him out of the hotel business.
Cheon Sa Rang Accuses Gu Won
Fulfilling her childhood dream, Cheon Sa Rang began her first day at the King Hotel. She quickly learned to do the work after having different orientation sessions.
Despite being asked to wipe "butt sweat" from the gym equipment and do other chores, she managed to maintain a smile regardless of how bullies her colleagues were to her.
Cheon Sa Rang ended up being harassed by a pervert while working, and due to the man's shirt matching that of Gu Won's, she threw him off the treadmill, signaling their unfortunate meeting.
She threatened him and walked off, making Gu Won the perverted, which brought him confusion and anger.

In contrast to how she treated Gu Won, Hwa Ran met Cheon Sa Rang. She was able to win her boss' trust with her answers and she was immediately promoted to the lobby.
Elsewhere, Hwa Ran warned Gu Won and asked him to leave, and wished him to stay back in the UK.
Gu Won Returns to Korea to Work at King Hotel
Years later, Cheon Sa Rang continues to grow at her job at King Hotel, while Gu Won lives his life in the UK.
One day, he received a package that indicated Han Mi So's personnel record. He immediately asked Noh Sang Sik to book a flight back to Korea.
In Korea, Cheon Sa Rang received praise for her work.
Later on, Gu Won informed his father that he wanted to start working at the hotel, which made his father happy, but his sister was upset.
On his first day at work, he had an unfortunate encounter with Cheon Sa Rang inside his suite. Attention is focused on how they will be able to stand each other despite their opposite personalities.
