5 K-Dramas Debuting This July 2023: ‘Uncanny Counter 2,’ ‘My Lovely Liar,’ More
June gave viewers a whirlwind of emotions as it dropped unique and captivating dramas that viewers have been eyeing since its release. Another month full of exciting series is about to debut on primetime, from "Uncanny Counter 2" to "My Lovely Liar," these are the K-dramas to anticipate this July 2023.
'Not Others'
Formerly known as "Strangers," this webtoon-based series follows the story of a careless mother and her cool-headed daughter living together. After becoming a single mother in high school, a woman is now in her forties and cohabiting with the 29-year-old daughter she raised.
The drama will showcase the bickering and heart-warming mother-daughter relationship of Kim Eun Mi and Kim Jin Hee.
Headlining ENA Channel's newest drama are Jeon Hye Jin, Choi Sooyoung, Park Sung Hoon, and Ahn Jae Wook.
"Not Others" is scheduled to premiere this July 17
'Uncanny Counter 2'
The much-awaited action-fantasy drama this 2023 "Uncanny Counter 2" is finally landing on primetime beginning July 29 and will occupy the Saturday and Sunday slots on tvN. The series is also confirmed to air on the online streaming giant, Netflix.
Returning for a more exciting and bigger journey is the original cast Jo Byeong Gyu, Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Sejeong, Yum Hye Ran, and Ahn Suk Hwan. New cast members are about to debut namely Jin Suk Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In Soo.
'My Lovely Liar'
Making her long-awaited comeback is actress Kim So Hyun. She will team up with "Alchemy of Souls" actor Hwang Minhyun in tvN's new romance drama "My Lovely Liar."

The female star plays the role of Mok Sol Hee, who can detect when someone is lying, while the idol-actor will immerse himself in the character of Kim Do Ha, a murder suspect who no one believes is innocent.
Viewers will finally meet this new onscreen loveteam beginning July 24.
'Longing for You'
ENA Channel introduces another mystery-crime drama "Longing For You," which is set to debut this July 26.
Na In Woo is Detective Oh Jin Sung who works diligently to avenge his younger brother. Joining him is "One Dollar Lawyer" star Kim Ji Eun, who takes the role of Ko Young Joo. Mr. Oh gets transferred to the Special Investigation Team for a serial murder case and starts an investigation with Cha Young Woon (Kwon Yool) and his assistant Young Joo.
'D.P. 2'
Jung Hae In and Goo Kyo Hwan are back to continue their adventure. The webtoon-based series "D.P. 2" center around a special military squad sent to chase down deserters and is about to return on Netflix this July 28.
Reprising their roles in the drama are Kim Sung Kyun and Son Seok Ko. Aside from the original cast, new actors will join the squad, namely Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Hyun, and Choi Hyun Wook.
