Besides showing off her head-turning visuals, the birthday girl also spoke about her true feelings about being in the industry and playing various roles.

Although she has been in the industry since 2017, Park Gyu Young skyrocketed to fame after joining the cast of "Sweet Home" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay."

With her amazing performance, her popularity led her to headline various projects like "The Devil Judge," "Dali and the Cocky Prince," and more.

As she spoke to Dazed Korea, the actress was asked her thoughts about being a celebrity. Park Gyu Young described it as a "very colorful world."

"It was nice to be loved a lot," she added. However, there are also downsides to being a public figure.

"It seems that there are parts that are more painful than I thought," she explained.

Speaking of celebrity, she also starred in the Netflix hit K-drama Celebrity," taking on the role of Seo Ah Ri, an influencer who became famous overnight.

According to her, she had fun playing the role of Ah Ri since the character, "filled a lot of things" that she "wasn't satisfied" with in her daily life and pointed out the character's "solid energy."

The 12-episode K-drama showcased the reality of celebrities and influencers in and out of the spotlight.

Besides Park Gyu Young, the "Celebrity" cast also included CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Dong Gun, Lee Chung Ah, and Jun Hyosung.

Apart from the Netflix series, the 30-year-old actress will star in highly anticipated sequels.
