Model Zizian Amasses Attention For 'Mask Girl' Participation

Netflix's new series "Mask Girl" prided itself with three amazing actors Nana, Go Hyun Jung and Lee Han Byul.

"Mask Girl" follows the life of Kim Mo Mi, an office worker who's insecure about her appearance. She becomes a masked Internet sensation after working as a broadcast jockey.

Unfortunately, her life turns upside down when she gets entangled in a murder mystery where she's the prime suspect.

The series was released on August 18 and was well-received by the public, all thanks to its well-written narrative and perfect synchronization of the cast with their respective roles.

Rookie star Lee Han Byul who bested 1000 auditionees for the role played Kim Mo Mi of 2009. She's an office worker who finds salvation after raking in popularity as Mask Girl.

Nana returned to the limelight as Kim Mo Mi after surgery while Go Hyun Jung transformed into Kim Mo Mi, all grown-up, inside prison.

Unbeknownst to fans, there's another Mask Girl apart from the three amazing stars. The person in charge of Mask Girl's performances as a broadcast jockey was model Zizian.

Since the production unit loved hiding such small details-Lee Han Byul wasn't introduced to the public until the press conference-no one knew that there's another woman behind the mask.

Days after the release of the work, many viewers complimented Mask Girl's dancing and singing abilities in the show.

Zizian, a South Korean model, then revealed in an Instagram post that she was the stand-in for Mask Girl Kim Mo Mi, leaving a great impact and lasting impression.

Zizian Reveals Journey In Becoming 'Mask Girl'

In an Instagram post, Zizian expressed her eternal gratitude to the viewers who supported the new Netflix series.

She also showed her grateful heart to the public after her talents were recognized. Zizian revealed that she experienced a lot of difficulties as a stand-in for Mask Girl.

Zizian shared that she began practicing from January to August of 2022 to perfect Mask Girl's choreographies. According to her, she would practice three hours a day for three to four times a week.

"I had a lot of great experiences with Lee Han Byul and YGX Heeyeon," Zizian shared. "Dancing to "Dance In The Rhythm" by Kim Wan Sun was extremely difficult."

Although the whole song didn't come out in the drama, Zizian would perform the whole song during filming. She even said that she gets "drenched in sweat like a paper doll" after every performance.

In addition, she also appeared momentarily in the series as a singer promoter in a mall. The South Korean beauty shared that she even lost weight due to the tedious performances in the show.
