Kang Yoo Seok New Drama: Will He Be Go Yoon Jung’s Next Leading Man in Hospital Playlist’ Spin-Off?
Kang Yoo Seok is in talks to join Go Yoon Jung and Shin Si Ah for the upcoming spin-off of "Hospital Playlist."
Following the much-awaited release of the third season of the medical K-drama, officials confirmed that the tvN series will have a spin-off featuring new cast members. In addition, the talent label also mentioned that Kang Yoo Seok is positively considering the offer.
As for his upcoming role, drama officials and his agency are tight-lipped about the character. tvN is also yet to confirm if he will play Go Yoon Jung's leading man in the upcoming K-drama.
What We Know About the 'Hospital Playlist' Spin-Off
This September, tvN confirmed that Go Yoon Jung will play as the main character in the upcoming "Hospital Playlist" spin-off. Titled "A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday," the actress will transform into a first-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at Yulje Medical Center's branch in Jongro.
In a report, director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, who also worked on the "Hospital Playlist" and "Reply" series, will be the frontrunners of the upcoming medical K-drama.

Joining Go Yoon Jung is Shin Si Ah, who appeared in "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One."
As the drama unveils the main characters, "A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday" focuses on the relatable scenarios of the lives of medical staff and patients at the hospital. It will showcase the turbulent friendships of doctors, residents, and staff.
Following the cast lineup, officials also confirmed that they are planning to release the series in the first half of 2024.
Where You Have Seen Kang Yoo Seok
Before joining the "Hospital Playlist" spin-off, Kang Yoo Seok piqued the interest of viewers after starring in Netflix's "Black Knight."
Taking on the role of the teenage refugee named Sa Wol, the up-and-coming actor delivered amazing chemistry with top star Kim Woo Bin, who played the legendary knight, 5-8.
Besides his amazing performance in the Netflix series, Kang Yoo Seok also appeared in "Melting Me Softly," "Start-Up," "Beyond Evil," and more, taking on supporting and cameo roles.
Interestingly, it was the K-drama "Black Knight" where he had his first ever lead character in a series. Moreover, viewers also praised the actor for his amazing performance with Kim Woo Bin and Esom.
As for his big-screen appearance, he made his movie debut in 2020 after headlining the sci-fi drama "The Interviewees."
