Krystal Jung Reveals Interesting Story Behind Her Cannes Film Festival 2023 Look: ‘I wanted it to be perfect’
Kysrtal Jung marked a significant milestone in her life after the singer-actress made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
The 28-year-old beauty graced the prestigious festival as part of the movie "Cobweb," together with award-winning actors Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung, Jeon Yeo Been, and Oh Jung Se.
Serving head-turning looks, she is among the Korean celebrities who took center stage and captivated the crowd with her undeniable beauty and charm.
Wearing a pink silk dress, Krystal Jung's look for the Cannes Film Festival debut showcased an old Hollywood movie star vibe.
Aside from her, BLACKPINK's Jennie also made her debut at the event, as well as Song Joong Ki and "Hopeless" co-star BIBI.
Interestingly, months after the prestigious festival, Krystal recalled her experience and revealed the story behind her dress.
During her guest appearance on the YouTube channel Vivo TV, the "Police University" star dishes on the preparation she had prior to the red carpet event.

Host Song Eun I asked Krystal about her "dream-like time at Cannes," but they heard that she had a hard time choosing her outfit.
According to the actress, she wanted it to be perfect since it was her first time at the Cannes Film Festival and a once-in-a lifetime opportunity.

To ensure that things would go out as planned, she brought several options for her look.
"So I took three dresses, and I didn't know what concept to do, so I asked the director to choose the color without showing me the dress," she recalled, as obtained by a media outlet.
Kystal then revealed that "Cobweb" director Kim Jee Woon was the one who chose the pink dress out of the three options, which are black and gold.
She also shared that her older sister, Jessica, also chose the pink one and added, "Yes, I said let's go with pink, so I wore it like that."
Lo and behold, it was the perfect dress for Krystal Jung, and she chose to style it with curly hair and bold red lips like an old Hollywood movie star.
According to her, it was the vibe that she was going for-an "old classic Hollywood style," as the actress described it.
Kystal Jung Stars in 'Cobweb'
One of the highly anticipated movies of 2023, "Cobweb," officially hit theaters on September 27, featuring a star-studded cast.
In the film, she takes on the role of rising star Han Yu Rim. In an interview, she mentioned that this was the role that she couldn't resist and felt like she was able to live out her 1970s superstar fantasies.
As mentioned, "Cobweb" is headlined by Song Kang Ho, who takes on the role of director Kim, along with Jeon Yeo Been, Oh Jung Se, and Im Soo Jung.
