Ahn Hyo Seop's Blossoming Career as K-Drama Actor

As he continues to rise to stardom, Ahn Hyo Seop has been working nonstop as projects also consistently pour into his career. Following the success of "Business Proposal" in 2022, he landed big dramas this 2023 with "Dr. Romantic 3" and "A Time Called You."

In his media interview, the K-drama leading man talked about his blossoming career and the things he does on and off the screen.

Ahn Hyo Seop just concluded another project with Netflix with "A Time Called You," where he played two roles. It is one of his greatest performances yet in his small-screen works. Many have expressed their amazement with his acting on how he fully immersed himself in the characters of Nam Si Heon and Koo Yeon Jun.

However, aside from the compliments he garnered, Ahn Hyo Seop also received negative comments criticizing his acting.

During the interview, he was asked if he tends to look up written articles about him and comments during his free time.

In response, Ahn Hyo Seop revealed that he read all the comments. But what he finds really odd is that he enjoys reading malicious comments about him as he find it interesting.

"I am the kind of person who has no aversion to seeing negative reactions. It's just interesting because I understand how they felt when they wrote those comments. And those comments also help me a lot."

He added that those malicious and other negative comments he received made him come to his senses and reflect on his work to do better next time.

What's Next for Ahn Hyo Seop

Furthermore, the heartthrob is fulfilling solo activities after finishing his dramas. He is in the middle of fan meeting tours in Asia.

In addition, he is confirmed to attend the Asia Artist Awards 2023 (AAA) this coming December 14 in the Philippines. Through thise event, he will reunite with former on-screen partner Kim Sejeong, whom he worked with in the hit series "Business Proposal."

Ahn Hyo Seop is also being courted to work with Lee Min Ho and Nana in the movie "Omniscient Reader."
