Im Soo Hyang Boasts Friendship With BLACKPINK Jennie: ‘We’re really similar’

Im Soo Hyang Enjoys Furmom Duties With BLACKPINK Jennie
On October 2, Im Soo Hyang made a special appearance in Park Ha Sun's radio program "Cinetown."
During the program, Im Soo Hyang shared that she missed her family pets whenever her schedule gets hectic.
Earlier this 2023, Im Soo Hyang returned to the acting scene with the historical romance drama "Kokdu: Season of Deity," which was well-received by the fans.
On the other hand, the Hallyu star raises three bichon frise dogs namely Aki, Ori and Rai. Recently, she brought the two others as she visited her good friend BLACKPINK Jennie.
Surprisingly, the two are close friends. Im Soo Hyang and Jennie met on the set of the variety show "Village Survival, the Eight" in 2018, and have become sister-like friends since.
To recall, Jennie also made headlines for her surprise gift to the actress. In 2022, the idol-actress sent a large flower pot and some Gentle Monster goodies which elicited envy among the fans.

"Aki, Ori and I were invited to Jennie's Season's Greetings Calendar photoshoot," Im Soo Hyang shared. "We're both furmoms. My dogs took photos together with BLACKPINK."
Im Soo Hyang expressed her regrets not bringing her other dog Rai, eliciting laughter. Jennie is also fond of dogs as she raised two cute pups Kai, who recently passed away, and Kuma.
Im Soo Hyang To Star In New Drama 'Beauty and the Devoted'
Earlier this year, KBS2 announced the meeting of Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo who are set to headline the upcoming romance drama "Beauty and the Devoted."
The drama follows the romantic story between an actress who is now behind her time and a producing director who plans to make her shine bright again.
As they work together and get to know each other better, the actress and director rediscover not only themselves but also how to love again.
"Beauty and the Devoted" will be led by director Kim Sa Kyung who previously worked with the two stars before in the dramas "Young Lady and Gentleman" and "Blow Breeze.
Details regarding the drama haven't been announced yet so stay tuned for more information. Filming begins once the lineup is finalized with the intention to release it in early 2024.
