Rowoon & Cho Yi Hyun Plan Grand Wedding In New Drama
On October 4, KBS2 dropped another teaser for the much anticipated rom-com drama "The Matchmakers" starring Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun.
It tells the fateful meeting between a young widow and a widower who struggle together to marry off Joseon's young maidens as wedding planners.
Rowoon plays Shim Jung Woo, a handsome Joseon matchmaker who lives a rather sad life after his bride-to-be dies on the day of their wedding.
Meanwhile, Jung Soon Deok, a noblewoman who lives a secret life as a wedding organizer, is portrayed by Cho Yi Hyun.
Since they both work as matchmakers, they consider each other as their rivals, always one-upping one another as the best star in Joseon.

Jung Soon Deok captures the public's attention by describing herself as the "goddess of matchmaking," raising the anticipation about her competition with Shim Jung Woo.
Excitement for the drama is doubled after a montage of their rivalry and teamwork as matchmakers is shown in the teaser.
