Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min's romantic comedy film "Love Reset" celebrates a new milestone.
On November 6, the Korean Film Council announced that the film officially surpassed 2 million moviegoers, a month after its initial release.
"Love Reset" follows the lives of an unhappily married couple who is now on the edge of divorce. However, they suffer from an amnesiac episode due to an unexpected incident, 30 days before their marriage ends.
With the film's riveting premise and the chemistry between its lead stars, it ranked fourth in the box office among South Korean films released this year, following "The Roundup: No Way Out," "Smugglers" and "Concrete Utopia."
Following the news, Kang Ha Neul, Jung So Min and the rest of the "Love Reset" cast and crew expressed their gratitude for exceeding 2 million moviegoers through handwritten messages.
As the film continues to screen in cinemas worldwide, it is projected to reach 3 million in the coming days.
