Fans Disappointed Over Park Seo Joon's Lack of Screen Time

Speaking of the South Korean actor, "The Marvels" gained mixed reactions from the public ahead of its global release.

Viewers, especially PSJ fans, were thrilled to see the actor's first Hollywood movie after landing the role of Prince Yanof Aladna. However, the public was left unhappy after a Marvel YouTuber commented on the duration of the actor's screen time in the MCU movie.

As obtained by a news outlet, the user pointed out Park Seo Joon's lack of screen time in "The Marvels" since he only appeared in less than 3 minutes, or 2 minutes and 47 seconds in total.

With this, fans couldn't help but feel disheartened since they thought the actor would play a more significant role because of all the publicity featuring him. Some thought that they were duped by MCU because they even had Park Seo Joon on the trailer.

As for some, they have second thoughts about watching the new movie.

  • "I thought he was one of the lead characters. I can't believe his screen time is less than the time it takes to cook a cup of noodles. Not going to watch."
  • "I guess I don't need to watch, LOL."
  • "They put him in a lot of promos for 3 minutes."
  • "Are his scenes in the trailer it?"
  • "They put him on the main poster, but he is given screen time to fit for an extra."

What's Next for Park Seo Joon?

Following "The Marvels" debut, viewers will get to see Park Seo Joon star in an interesting K-drama.

The top star is teaming up with Han So Hee for the much-awaited "Gyeongseong Creature," which will air on December 22 exclusively on Netflix.
