'Vigilante' Episode 5 Recap

The fifth episode began with Kim Ji Yong getting a call from Cho Kang Ok, who is persuading him to team up against criminals.

At this point, Ji Yong is close to giving the vigilante wannabe a chance after he sees that detective Cho Heon has been tracking his activities.

On the other hand, reporter Choi Mi Ryeo and her assistant are looking into the case involving Sewol Future Resources, especially the Chairman, Kim Sam Doo.

Mi Ryeo and her colleague discovered a warehouse with their database.

Unfortunately, they crossed paths with his right hand, Mr. Bang, and killed the colleague.

With the pieces of evidence she got, she exposed Sewol Future Resources, which made the police head, Uhm Jae Hyeob, furious.

As a result, they plan to get back at her by abducting Mi Ryeo. Thankfully, Cho Heon came just in time and saved her from danger.

Meanwhile, he used this as his opportunity to track Sewol Future Resources and ended up singlehandedly taking them down.

As the episode wrapped up, viewers witnessed the intense confrontation between Cho Heon and Kim Ji Yong.

The chief investigator followed the mysterious man and called Kim Ji Yong by his name.

Cho Yeon labeled the police student a traitor to their people by ignoring the law and using violence to punish the criminals.

"Vigilante" episode 5 ends with Cho Heon trying to kill Kim Ji Yong by strangling him.
