'Sweet Home' Season 2 Episodes 7-8: Song Kang's Big Role to the Mysterious Girl
"Sweet Home" season 2 wrapped up episodes 7 and 8 with the unexpected return of one character.
The Netflix original series stars Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Go Min Si, Park Gyu Young, Lee Si Young, and more. Interestingly, "Sweet Home" season 2 also introduced new characters, who added color to the story. This included Oh Jung Se, Jung Jinyoung, Yoo Oh Sung, Kim Shin Rok, and more.
As the 8-episode K-drama premiered, viewers witnessed a series of surprises, especially with the return of one character.
'Sweet Home' Season 2 Episode 7
The seventh episode focused on Seo Yi Kyung and the mystery girl. Beginning with a flashback, Yi Kyung attempted to kill the newborn baby girl, who she gave birth to.
Instead of killing her, she had no guts to end her life. Instead, Yi Kyung left her in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, Cha Hyun Soo watched them from afar and couldn't help but see the young girl alone, so he raised her in her stead.
On the other hand, Seo Yi Kyung watched them from the distance. As she finally accepted her and saw that her daughter was normal, she witnessed what made her realize that she was not one.
"She is a monster," the single mother thought to herself after seeing the girl murder those who attacked her. Despite this, she finally accepted her but made a few changes to protect the girl from herself.
At the stadium, Chief Ji and others heard a noise coming from the outer wall of her room, but as Jung Ye Seul tried to investigate, her mother begged her not to.
However, this alerted Tak In Hwan and the group as they reached Ji's basement. Chief Ji cut off Tak's hand but saw it heal itself, proving that he was also a monster.
This was where Tak In Hwan hallucinated, which made him kill all survivors, including his son.
'Sweet Home' Episode 8
All about surprising returns and tragic encounters, "Sweet Home" episode 8 showed Seo Yi Kyung surviving the accident after her daughter set the boat on fire. She had the chance to leave but chose not to.

Meanwhile, Cha Hyun Soo brought the mysterious girl to see her mother for the last time. He believed that the daughter deserved to say goodbye to Seo Yi Kyung, but instead, she turned her mother into a monster.
One of the puzzling things in episode 8 was the reason Chief Ji was sheltering a monster.
Was it Ji's husband who once attacked Lee Eun Yu?
