Han Ye Seul Talks About Reason for 2-Year Hiatus
In her YouTube video on December 8, the "Birth of a Beauty" actress Han Ye Seul shared her previous whereabouts and the reason for her temporary exit from showbiz.
According to her, she spent healing time in the US and mentioned her past dating news that almost ruined her career.
The celebrity also talked about the late and controversial reporter Kim Yong Ho, who spread malicious comments about celebrities.
Han Ye Seul said that the late reporter could have turned away from that nature of work and lived a new life, but lost the chance after he passed away.
Kim Yong Ho publicly shared malicious scandals about her dating life, which affected her non-showbiz partner and the actress's career.

She then decided to sue him and took legal action against the former reporter.
"His actions were so malicious that I couldn't tolerate them more than I feared."
Watching Kim Yong Ho involved in murderous behavior, Han Ye Seul took the opportunity to confront him.

The Korean star then revealed her decision to take her boyfriend abroad to escape the cruel world of entertainment.
"I took my boyfriend to the US because of how he was affected by the ongoing dating issues. I wanted him to experience that there's still a bigger world outside the show business.
As a result, we both experienced healing and became much healthier and happier. Now, he's happy and plays a role in providing strength and mental healing when I'm tired and spiritually exhausted."
Han Ye Seul decided to leave showbiz for two years and went to the US with her boyfriend. Not just to find peace, but also for the press not to release malicious news about her and her private life.
To recall, in 2021, Han Ye Seul filed defamation and insult charges against YouTube channels spreading false information and using offensive expressions about her, including content exceeding the level of malice.
Among the media reporters that she sued was the late Kim Yong Ho.
