‘Marry My Husband’ Episode 1: Park Min Young Face Relationship Woes With Lee Yi Kyung + Drama Begins With Promising Start
Park Min Young officially returns with a different kind of drama as she stars in the revenge series "Marry My Husband."
Joined by Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and Song Ha Yoon, the newest tvN K-drama is based on the novel of the same name that depicts the journey of a woman who managed to turn her fate in her favor.
Helmed by Park Won Gook of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" seasons 1 and 2, "Marry My Husband" showed a positive start as the 16-part K-drama aired its first episode.
'Marry My Husband' Viewership
In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an impressive rating as Park Min Young's new drama debuts.
"Marry My Husband" episode 1 garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.2 percent, not bad for a pilot episode.

On the other hand, the newest revenge drama series airs every Monday and Tuesday, where viewers get to watch it via TVN, TVING, and Prime Video.
'Marry My Husband' Episode 1 Recap
Kang Ji Won spends her time at the hospital as she suffers from gastric cancer.
Thankfully, her best friend, Jung Soo Min, comforts her with encouraging messages not to give up.
The scene changes with a background story of Kang Ji Won's wedding day with Park Min Hwan.
The beautiful bride felt uneasy after her mother-in-law mentioned the absence of her family.
In "Marry My Husband," Kang Ji Won has no one but her friend. Like her, her father also suffered from cancer and died while she was in college.
The pilot episode also showcased how Park Min Hwan's family treats her.
She married a mama's boy who prioritizes his mother's opinion instead of his wife's.
In addition, he also lacks ambition and lets Kang Ji Won work for them.
In one scene, she received a call notifying her about her unsettled hospital bills.
Due to this, she had a hunch that Min Hwan was using her money on others and not on her hospital bills.
She hurried to their home and met a nice taxi driver who gave her words of encouragement.
As she arrives at her home, she finds out that her husband is cheating on her with her best friend.
Kang Ji Won threatened to expose him to the police so he wouldn't get insurance claims; however, Park Min Hwan accidentally killed her.
She then wakes up at a different time, but with the same person. In addition, she also has a vivid memory of the day that she died.
At this point, Kang Ji Won is not yet married to Park Min Hwan.
She is also working under Yoo Ji Hyuk, the success of their company.
Because of her memory of Park Min Hwan and Jung Soo Min's betrayal, she promised herself that she would use her second life to get her revenge.
