Kim Woo Bin Shares Affection For 'Alienoid' Part 2
This 2024, Kim Woo Bin finally makes his much anticipated silver screen comeback with the second half of "Alienoid."
The film depicts the stories of humans and monks that save humankind by traveling to modern South Korea to retrieve the sword that holds the world's hidden secrets.
Kim Woo Bin plays the role of Thunder, a supernatural being who escorts aliens and prisoners while also controlling the time. Through the work, the actor showcased his improved acting.

Compared to his previous works, "Alienoid" gave Kim Woo Bin the opportunity to show his performance that transcends generation and complex genres.
The time-slip element is Kim Woo Bin's favorite part in the film. In addition, he expressed his affection for the work, saying that he would join again if it were to be released as a series.
"I can even film immediately, even tomorrow," Kim Woo Bin said. "I'd participate in a heartbeat."
Kim Woo Bin Gets Upset Over Ryu Jun Yeol's Confession
After filming for a long time together, Kim Woo Bin, Ryu Jun Yeol and Kim Tae Ri grew closer and soon became friends.
In a guest appearance at the popular YouTube channel "Channel Full Moon" which was hosted by Na Young Seok, the producing director of the hit variety show "Youth Over Flowers."
Kim Woo Bin discovered that Ryu Jun Yeol didn't know him before they met on the filming set of "Alien." According to the latter, he also knew about the actor due to cancer.
To recall, Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. After two years of recovery, he was able to bounce back and returned to the acting scene in 2019.
"I read an article about him being sick. It really made me sad even though I didn't know him at all," Ryu Jun Yeol said. "I was so worried to know that an actor my age was suffering like that."
Kim Woo Bin got jokingly upset about Ryu Jun Yeol's confession. The latter reasoned that they weren't able to meet before as rookies. However, he felt "relieved" when he survived cancer.
To counterattack his confession, Kim Woo Bin exposed Ryu Jun Yeol for "lying" to the fans. He revealed that they met at the Busan International Film Festival through Byun Yo Han in 2015.
The actor added, "Jun Yeol and I drank for a long time. We even went to the same salon more than three times but he acted like he met me for the first time."
Embarrassed by the revelation, Ryu Jun Yeol made excuses about being drunk, sending everyone into laughter. Thankfully, they grew closer overtime through "Alienoid."
On the other hand, the much awaited Part 2 of the film airs this January 10 in cinemas nationwide.
