In 2021, romance filled the air after Netflix released "Our Beloved Summer" which depicted the story of two young exes who reunited as adults a few years after their breakup.

The drama starred Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik, and delivered a syndrome-level success. Even after two years, "Our Beloved Summer" continues to grow in popularity around the globe.

Kim Da Mi

After coming back to the silver screens last year, Kim Da Mi lands another big scale project. At the moment, she's currently filming her brand new disaster film "The Great Flood" with Park Hae Soo.

In the film, the actress transforms into Anna, an AI development researcher who gets stuck inside her apartment building which is subjected to sinking under water due to the great flood.

Park Hae Soo of "Squid Game" and "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" completes the main cast as Hee Jo, a member of the human resource security team who saves Anna.

The meeting of two award-winning actors heightened the fans' excitement. Meanwhile, the work is still underway. It's expected to be released some time this 2024.

It will hit the big screens nationwide and thankfully, it will also be available for worldwide streaming on Netflix for foreign audiences.

On the other hand, Kim Da Mi's other works including "Soulmate," "Itaewon Class" and "The Witch" film series are worth checking out.

Choi Woo Shik

Despite not appearing in the screens in 2023, Choi Woo Shik widened his horizon by joining the variety program "Jinny's Kitchen" with his good friends, Wooga Squad.

This year is a grand time for the actor's fans as he's set to make his comeback with a slew of multiple projects. At the moment, he's gearing up for his much anticipated film "Wonderland."

It's a sci-fi work that follows the lives of people who reunite with their loved ones through artificial intelligence. The film also stars Suzy, Tang Wei and Park Bo Gum.

Preparation for the film is in the final phase, and the production unit aims to bring comfort to viewers who experience grief and loss. It's slated to be released in the second half of the year.

Choi Woo Shik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Hee Joon

In addition, he also headlines "A Killer Paradox" opposite Lee Je Hoon and Son Seok Koo, which depicts the chase between a detective and a man who accidentally kills a serial killer.

It consists of a total of 8 episodes, and will be available for streaming on February 9 on Netflix. Furthermore, Choi Woo Shik will also join Lee Jun Young and Park Bo Young in "Melo Movie."

It's penned by "Our Beloved Summer" writer Lee Na Eun. Choi Woo Shik plays Go Gyeom, an actor who becomes a film critic whose dream is to watch every single movie in the world.
