'Doctor Slump' Teaser: Park Hyung Sik's Appearance Surprises Park Shin Hye

Ahead of its highly-anticipated premiere, JTBC gave viewers a sneak peek at Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye's chaotic relationship in the medical-romance series "Doctor Slump." 

The new stills showcase the changes in the main protagonists' behavior after they parted ways, only to see each other again for the first time in years.

"Doctor Slump" is a romantic-comedy series featuring the story of two former rivals who reunite and become each other's light during the darkest period of their lives.

Yeo Jung Woo (Park Hyung Sik) and Nam Ha Neul (Park Shin Hye) try to start over again with their lives after they fall into a slump after only having followed successful paths.

In the photos released, Yeo Jung Woo makes an impromptu appearance on the rooftop of Southern Sky House, where Nam Ha Neul lives. Their reunion, 14 years after university days when they were still top rivals in the school, is met with confusion and surprise rather than joy.

Nam Ha Neul easily recognized Yeo Jung Woo and stood blankly pointing her finger. Curiosity increases as people wonder what changes will happen to them after they suffer from burnout.

In another still that follows, Yeo Jung Woo attracts attention as he visits the hospital where Nam Ha Neul works. Jung Woo lost his home, hospital, popularity, and good reputation due to a mysterious medical accident and became penniless.

As they keep on crossing each other's paths, viewers are looking forward to their fated meetings and how they will treat each other amid the challenges they are facing in their careers.

The "Doctor Slump" production team shared that viewers should watch the story of Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul, who spent 14 years together with completely different lives, from the most brilliant times to the most humble times.

They added, "We are wondering what kind of relationship and existence they will have for each other. A pleasant and exciting change will occur once they cross paths again."
