Shin Do Hyun Joins Yoo Teo in Netflix's 'The Recruit' + Actress To Have Her Hollywood Debut
Following Park Seo Joon and BLACKPINK's Jennie, "Doom At Your Service" actress Shin Do Hyun is taking on a new challenge this 2024 as she is confirmed to make her Hollywood debut.
Based on the news, Shin Do Hyun will appear in the second installment of the Netflix series "The Recruit," an action thriller depicting a rookie lawyer at the CIA, who is entangled in the dangerous world of spies.
Shin Do Hyun takes the role of Lee Yu Jin, a childhood friend of Owen, to be played by "All of the Boys I Loved Before" actor Noah Centineo.
Joining her in the project is Lee Sang Hee, who is about to portray the character of Nan Hee, the wife of Korean National Intelligence Service agent Jang Gyun.

It has been said that these stars landed the roles through a local audition.
In December 2023, it was revealed that "Love to Hate You" actor Yoo Teo joined the lead cast of "The Recruit" Season 2.
Son Jang Hak & Lee Sang Hee To Join Shin Do Hyun in 'The Recruit'
Aside from Shin Do Hyun, veteran actor Son Jang Hak will have his Hollywood journey through this movie.
He appeared in LeBar Leo's noir film "24 Hour Sonata" and the director recognized his potential to make it in the American media.
According to the director, "Son Jong Hak is one of the best Korean actors who has thought only about acting for a long time."
He also mentioned the amazing K-contents that received international success.
"Netflix's 'Squid Game' and 'Mask Girl' were popular, and I watched a lot of Korean works. Son Jong Hak caught my eye."
In the past, Lee Byung Hun, Bae Doona, Rain, and Jun Ji Hyun were the first Korean acts who entered Hollywood and expanded the popularity of the Korean wave.
In later years, Ma Dong Seok and Park Seo Joon starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) works. BLACKPINK Jennie also debuted as a Hollywood actress through the American HBO drama "The Idol."
