Singer-Comedienne Jo Hye Ryun Mentions 'The Glory' Couple Wedding

Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon made an unexpected appearance in news headlines after a comedienne claimed the couple's wedding.

On March 25, comedienne Jo Hye Ryun appeared on a variety program. During the broadcast, the guests assembled while singing her song "Anacana." 

One of the guests commented how Jo Hye Ryun is receiving popularity as a wedding singer. She said, "If you want to live happily ever after, Jo Hye Ryun unnie needs to sing at your wedding."

Lee Ji Hye then asked the members of the show, Choa and Ivy, if they wanted Jo Hye Ryun to sing at their weddings. Hearing this, the veteran singers politely responded that it would be an honor to have the comedian-singer sing at the special events in their lives.

While the conversation was going on, Jo Hye Ryun's statement shocked everyone as she candidly revealed that she had a celebrity couple in mind and offered to be their wedding singer.

"If 'The Glory' couple were to marry, I want to volunteer as a singer at their wedding."

The other guest chimed in and joked, asking, "Shouldn't you ask them first?", to which the comedian then offered to pay the couple to allow her.

Following this, some netizens raised their eyebrows with the sudden claim of the entertainer for Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon's wedding.

To recall, the two "The Glory" stars confirmed their relationship in 2023. Fans expressed their support to the couple, who developed romance while working on the hit Netflix series.

However, despite their dating publicly, the couple has not talked about nor mentioned any plans of getting married anytime soon. In fact, the two are busy with their individual activities.

Lim Ji Yeon is busy filming her other upcoming acting projects. After "The Glory," the actress headlined the thriller K-drama "Lies Hidden in My Garden" with Kim Tae Hee, and "The Killing Vote" with Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong.

This 2024, she is expected to star in the series "Mrs. Ok," and the movie "Revolver."

Lee Do Hyun, on the other hand, is fulfilling his duty in the military. He is set to be discharged sometime this year.

Despite the actor being in the army, his film debut "Exhuma" scored huge success. Released on February 22, it topped South Korea's weekend box office during its first week.

On March 24, it became the first-ever Korean movie this year to achieve 10 million ticket sales.
