Ahn Bo Hyun To Headline New JTBC Series 'God's Beads'

Hallyu superstar Ahn Bo Hyun might be taking on the historical genre challenge this 2024 with JTBC's upcoming series "God's Beads."

According to reports, the actor received offers to appear in the work. FN Entertainment, Ahn Bo Hyun's agency, stated that the actor is positively reviewing the script.

He was offered to play the role of Baek Gyeol, a son of a noble military man who is in search of the sacred beads of their country. If Ahn Bo Hyun accepts the offer, "God's Beads" will mark his first-ever historical K-drama since his debut.

Fans look forward to seeing the actor in a brand new acting role, especially opposite veteran actor Lee Sung Min, who's offered the role of Choi Koo, a member of Baek Gyeol's convoy.

Furthermore, "God's Beads" depicts the friendship and love of an expedition team in search for the sacred relics of the country. It will be helmed by "Reborn Rich" director Jung Dae Yoon.
